Paustitus is a vampire. unlike anyother vampire he does not feed on blood, rather he feeds on the essence of death. he is a watcher, an observer, a waiter. he can sense death, taste it in the air and hears it on the wind. he is drawn to it like a flame. he does not kill, but rather he observes the passing, feeding on the emptiness of the souls departure. he wanders the earth in the form of a man with markings of a raven in his torso, and also in the form of a great black bird. he is known as a scavenger, a carrion feeder, he is even mistaken as death himself, but he is none of these. he is Paustitus.
